Greater Cincinnati Earns International Recognition

Greater Cincinnati Earns International Recognition in Five Key Business Industries

Greater Cincinnati earned an impressive distinction in November. Site Selection magazine released its annual “Top Competitive Cities in the World” report, ranking the Greater Cincinnati metro region as a top five most competitive city in North America for the following industries:

  • Aerospace (No. 2)
  • Food & Beverage (No. 2)
  • Chemicals & Plastics (No. 4)
  • Transportation (No. 5)
  • Metals (No. 5)

“It’s exciting to see Greater Cincinnati getting noticed,” said Johnna Reeder, president & CEO of REDI Cincinnati. “We have an incredible diversity of businesses and expertise within our region and rankings like this spotlight our capabilities. Everyone is working together to make the region top of mind – both public and private leaders are committed to growing our economy.”

This is the latest accolade Greater Cincinnati earned. Earlier this year, Cincinnati was named the fastest-growing economy in the Midwest, Forbes called the region a “hotbed for entrepreneurial growth,” and Fortune said it has one of the Top 5 up and coming downtowns.

Greater Cincinnati, and Ohio, is letting the world know it’s open for business – and it looks like the world is starting to listen. To learn more about what the Cincinnati region can offer your business, visit REDI Cincinnati.
