JobsOhio Board of Directors held a public meeting at the Longaberger Alumni House in Columbus to discuss third quarter results as well as updates on recent JobsOhio developments and JobsOhio Network Partners.

COLUMBUS – The JobsOhio Board of Directors held a quarterly public meeting at the Longaberger Alumni House in Columbus. The meeting included an overview of third quarter results as well as updates on recent JobsOhio developments and JobsOhio Network Partners.
John Minor, President and Chief Investment Officer for JobsOhio, said the company’s third quarter results saw increases in 2014 over 2013.
“Year-to-date through September, we posted increases in new jobs and new capital investment over the same period last year,” said Minor.
Managing Director Kristi Tanner followed with an update of her recent business development trip to China and Japan. She said her meetings led to several project leads and explained the significance of attracting foreign direct investment to Ohio.
Minor then updated the Board on JobsOhio’s Regional Network Partners, including recent project wins and a breakdown of performance results year-to-date.
The JobsOhio Board also heard from Managing Director Aaron Pitts, who reviewed Ohio’s biohealth industry; and Executive Director of Operations Kristi Clouse and Governor’s Office Director of Workforce Transformation Dawn Larzelere, who discussed workforce development initiatives in Ohio.
JobsOhio is a private, non-profit corporation designed to drive job creation and new capital investment in Ohio through business attraction, retention and expansion efforts.
